Cellular Jail

The Cellular Jail, also known as Kālā Pānī (Black Water), was a colonial
prison. The prison was used by the British especially to exile political
prisoners to the remote archipelago. Many unforgettable recusants such as
Batukeshwar Dutt and Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, among others, were imprisoned
here during the struggle for India’s independence. Today, the complex serves as
a national memorial monument.

Swaraj Island (Havelock Island)

Rutland Island is a pristine, non-polluted, and least visited island.

Ross Island It was previously known as Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island.
It was the seat of the British administration. This is the island from where
the British governed the entire Andaman Islands and set up a colony on this
island. The Indian Navy currently manages the island and the island is open to
tourist visits. A boat ride is required to reach Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose
Island from the Rajiv Gandhi water sports complex. The island is closed to
tourists on Wednesday.

coast of Havelock Island. It is also known as an infinite beach, Radhanagar was
voted the best beach in Asia in 2004 and is now considered one of the top 100

Itinerary

Arrival at Port Blair in the morning/afternoon by flight and our representative will be waiting outside holding a placard with your name on it. You will be taken to your hotel where you relax and rest.
Later will start the breathtaking trip to Corbyns Cove Beach, one of the most picturesque, coconut palm fringed beaches, 7 km away from Port Blair town, and to the Cellular Jail, a place of pilgrimage for all freedom-loving people. One can also view the history of the heroic freedom struggle which is brought alive in a moving Light & Sound Show at the Cellular Jail.

Check out from the hotel with a packed breakfast and board the ferry to Havelock. Later we depart for Andaman Islands' most amazing destination, Havelock Island. The destination is rated as the best island in India. Depart from Port Blair to Havelock Island on a ferry. Upon reaching Havelock, our representative attends to you and will drop you at your hotel. Rest and Relax in a beachside resort. Later we begin our journey to one of Asia's best beaches, Radhanagar Beach. Explore this white sand beach and bask in the beauty of this natural wonder. After Breakfast, check out and proceed to Kala Pathar beach by road. Get a glimpse of various Resorts & Dive centres en route. Spend the rest of the day at leisure enjoying white sand beaches. return back to the resort in Havelock Island. Optional Tour (As per Weather Conditions):- Elephant Beach by boat (on a direct payment basis) . The travel time is around 45 minutes to reach Elephant Beach. You get complimentary Snorkelling. This beach has one of the best coral reefs in the world & the underwater marine life is very lively & colourful. Please do not forget to take snacks for the trip and lots of drinking water & changing dress for the day trip or advised. After the completion of the coral island tour, return back to the resort in Havelock Island.

After breakfast catches the ferry for Neil Island. Upon reaching the Island our representative will take you to your respective resort. Rest and then proceed to Laxmanpur beach, which lies 2 km north of Neil jetty. Stay to view the mesmerizing sunset.

After Breakfast, visit Bharatpur Beach which is famous for its water activities. One can do a glass bottom ride to see the beautiful marine life through the glass bottom boat. Later visit Natural Coral Bride. Catch the ferry to Port Blair. Overnight in Port Blair.

Who should get RAP permission?

Citizens of Afghanistan, China, and Pakistan and foreign nationals having their origin in these countries would continue to require the Restricted Area Permit to visit Andaman & Nicobar Islands. In such cases, the Restricted Area Permit (RAP) would be granted only after prior approval of the Ministry of Home Affairs. If any such national is found visiting these Islands without the Restricted Area Permit, necessary penal action would be taken under the relevant provisions of the Foreigners Act, of 1946.

How to reach Mud Volcano?

Active Mud volcanoes lie in Baratang & Diglipur Island, a part of the Andaman chain of islands. The volcano is one of the top places to visit on Baratang Island. To get to the volcano, you have to take an 11 km ride by road from the jetty of Nilambur and walk another 160 meters upwards to reach the spot.
